3CX Prepare for new Chrome & Edge updates with Update 6 Beta 2

3CX updates

Updates to the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers are expected to hit at the end of August, featuring enhanced security checks. To ensure there aren’t any compatibility issues with the 3CX browser extensions, a second beta for 3CX update 6 has been released.

Updated translations

Translations have been updated across the 3CX Clients, installation and setup Wizard and Management Console, allowing for an improved experience for each of the users and partners.

Raspberry Pi OS 10 (Buster)

The Technical Preview Beta has been extended to include the Raspberry Pi 10 as a platform for Update 6. Administrators using a Raspberry Pi are now free to try out the new features to come in 3CX.

Installation is easy, just run the following line:

wget https://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/misc/d10pi.zip; sudo bash d10pi.zip

Try out the latest beta

You can update your 3CX client from the Management Console Dashboard, or alternatively you can download the latest release from the 3CX website.

Make sure all your 3CX is up to date with 3CX Maintenance.
